Smart, funny, and beautiful, what a combo. I just got in that tinted photo by dreampinups of Carole in the red silk robe, and all I can say is - WOW!
"It's the real thing" I bet that photo of Frederic and Claudette sold a lot of Cokes in it's day. That photo also makes me wonder when product placements first started to appear in films.
Great pics, I read Lombard was quite fond of her Coca Cola as well, that she drank it as a nervous habit. I also read F. Scott Fitzgerald drank the stuff by the crateload in a desperate attempt to wean himself off the booze - supposedly he had quite a collection of bottles all round his MGM office!

I didnt know that about Lombard being fond of coke. Thats a funny one about F. Scott Fitzgerald! If he consumed coke like he consumed the booze, he sure made a lot of coca-cola shareholders happy.
