I always wonder what the early film players might look like in color. many of them never lasted into the 3 strip era. It appears like it was a posed shot for a soft drink advert, as all the players seem to have a bottle in hand.
She really came into her own in the talkies, although her time was short. She was about ready to give it all up until an excellent role came along in the silent film The Patsy, and she never looked back.

I'm so used to having seen that still from "Dinner at Eight" in b&w, it's almost shocking to see it in color!

I adore Marie Dressler. Someday I hope to see the rest of the movies she's made.
