Classic Pre-code: Girls About Town 1931
Girls About Town 1931 has an impressive list of talent involved to recommend it. George Cukor directed, the associate producer was Raymond Griffith, who also shares writing credit with Zoe Atkins and Brian Marlow, photography by Ernest Haller, and costume design by Travis Banton. The cast features Kay Francis, Lilyan Tashman, Joel McCrea, and Eugene Pallette. But what is really recommended is a chance to see Kay Francis (among others) at her most revealing.
