Oh, Beau Sabreur and Wolf Song always break my heart. But there's so much more in here. Is that William Powell in that Bebe Daniel's movie?
Hi Jenny,
Only a trailer of Beau Sabreur exists and is one of the Treasures of the American Archives DVDs. You already know about The Wolf Song excerpt contained on one of the Hollywood on Parade shorts. Don't know if a complete print survives, though. It must have been a hot one, I'd love to see it. That is William Powell from back in his silent heavy days while under contract for Paramount. Powell and Daniels appeared in four silent films together. It looks like only Feel My Pulse survives. She's a Sheik was scheduled to be screened in the late 60's - I think - for Bebe Daniels, but I don't know if it still exists. Too bad, I love to see more of Powell and Daniels together.
