I hope my processing the images with an image editor didn't cause too much damage.
Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you liked them. Got some new material that needs to be scanned and photographed. Hope to post some of it in the near future.

I'm sure it wasn't you image editor! Print pieces back in the day could get pretty lurid with the color. I found some 1939 newspapers in my attic and was amazed to see full color advertising supplements.
I usually go with an auto adjust that sometimes makes a drastic change in the image. Yeah, you're right about the color. After looking at some older lobby cards, there seems to be quite a few actresses painted with rosy red cheeks.
