I'm really tickled to see the Lamarque caricature. He was a talented artist, designer and amateur magician who worked on magazines such as Film Fun. I wrote a short bio on him for Illustration Magazine and there's more information on him and examples of his art at the Smithsonian web site.
Hi Jack,Film Fun is one of may favorite magazines. They are a little more pricey to collect than most of the other fan magazines of that era, but I did manage to get a few issues from 1928-30.A summary of the Lamaque papers at the Smithsonian. http://siris-archives.si.edu/ipac20/ipac.jsp?uri=full=3100001~!228078!0&term=#focus
