This is a really sweet movie. While Francis is not like K. Hepburn in the Cukor-directed "Little Women," she is playing Jo March at another stage of her life, and I think she's quite good in the role. Her performance is also honest - there's no attempt to look glamorous or dress in high fashion circa mid-19th-century. And she brings much warmth to the part (which Hepburn doesn't have).
