I'm pretty well in love with pictures from Secrets of a Secretary and Man Wanted. I think Marshall and Colbert were really good together but no one seems to remember them. And you prolly know how I feel about Mr. Manners. SIGH.

ReplyDeleteYou've also seen Secrets of a Secretary, and I have to admit I'm envious. Hopefully the recent release of The Claudette Colbert Collection DVD will help remedy the situation. Unfortunately, none of the films on the set feature Marshall.
Francis and Manners allegedly didn't get along so well on the set, but you could never tell by the chemistry they displayed on screen. I know you have it bad for Mr. Manners. I read somewhere that he wore a tunic to great effect in, I think, Roman Scandals.
