  1. :D I love it! Take the tonic, for instance. Why don't they just call it a love potion and get it over with? Mind you, the cosmetics industry hasn't changed. They still charge you a fortune for a face moisturizer claiming you'll be beautiful and young forever. And because it's so expensive women will believe it...

  2. Im surprised more women from that era werent really messed up. Besides having to worry about B.O., dandruff, being too skinny or too fat, piles, constipation, unwanted hair and clear skin, they also had to deal with the problems of the depression, prohibition and first and foremost, saving their virginity for their husbands to be.
