They really knew how to dress back then. Always a semi-formal look, at least. Every man seemed to wear a suit and hat no matter what. They didn't need to dress up to go out, they were always dressed. I really like Ann Dvorak as a blonde. When I'm watching some old movies, I like to ponder which famous imbibers were under the influence while performing. I pretty sure Lee always performed straight, on camera, anyway. Watch Lew Cody in a film called X Marks the Spot 1931, I swear he's loaded to the gills in some scenes, or very ill.
