Virginia Bruce Biography
Actress Virginia Bruce is the subject of an upcoming bio by writer Scott O'Brien. Scott is the author of Kay Francis - I Can’t Wait To be Forgotten.
From the author’s website:
‘Virginia Bruce - Under My Skin by Scott O'Brien is the first full-length biography to delve into the fascinating, turbulent life and career of one of Hollywood's most under-rated stars. In James Robert Parish's foreword for the book, he notes Bruce's quiet charisma, the haunted, distracted look of her eyes, her vibrant voice, and her "off screen life ... far more exciting and exotic than any role she experienced on camera"’.

How exciting! A new biography. Gives me an excuse to watch more of Virginia Bruce's films.
Hi Raquelle,
Downstairs (1932) is showing Jan. 15th on TCM. That is a great one with Gilbert and Bruce.
