YES! They had a Kay Francis month years ago and it was so fun. I'm glad they're doing it again!
Hi Stacia,
YES is right! Up until a couple of years ago, TCM used to celebrate her birthday with a mini-marathon of films. Its going to be a real treat to watch some of her films in prime time.
It's always great to watch some of her films too.but it's not always easy to rent them in france.
have a look at my blog you will enjoy it
Hi chloe,
I certainly will have a look. Thanks for stopping by.
Just one question... where do you get TCM scheduling info so far in advance. The TCM site gives this month, next month, and the month after, but I'd really like to delve further if possible (and apparently, by your info here, it is).
Hi,
Here is the TCM schedule for October 2008.
http://www.tcm.com/schedule/index.jsp?startDate=10/01/2008&timezone=EST&cid=N
When you want an advanced schedule, just change the date in the web address. ex; startDate=month/day/year.
Novembers schedule probably wont be up until around the 3rd week in August.
LOVE YOUR DEVOTION TO KAY. SHE'S LONG BEEN ONE OF MY FAVORITES. SO NICE TO FIND POSTERS FOR HER MOVIES.
JOHN
Hi John,
Thanks! I will try to post some of Kay's lobby cards soon.
