Just finished watching "My Darling Clementine". Beautiful to look at.
By showing all the Ford at Fox films, TCM is almost making it unnecessary to buy the $300 collection
I must confess, I never got the Kay Francis obsession until I saw Man Wanted, which I found very engaging. I also DVR'd Transgression, but have yet to watch it.
Hi -K-,
I thanks the movie gods every day for TCM. I don't know how many of Ford's pre 1934 stuff TCM is going to air, so probably going to dish out the dough for the Fox set at Xmas. I have several battered prints of Ford's Fox silents and pre-codes that Id like to replace with the sets better prints.
Hi OOC,
I like Man Wanted. Trouble In Paradise was the film that did it for me.
"Man Wanted" was splendid, and so was "They Call It Sin." Loretta Young was incredibly luminous.

Hi vp,
Kay and David Manners had some pretty good chemistry on screen.
I like Loretta Young's early stuff. She made several darn good pre-code films.
