I wasnt 100% sure if that first photo was of Sylvia Sidney, she looks a little different, and its so unlike the other photos. That is probably by Hurrell, no?
I really like Evelyn Brent's look, she posed some great photos. I really get a kick out of her hairdo in photo #6.
I think it's her alright. If it's not by Hurrell it's just as divine, that light and shadow effect... Very chiaro scuro, like da Vinci. I loved her in Beetlejuice.

It says a lot that, bas as her atitude and manners were, Sylvia was actually scared of Bette Davies! :D
Nobody wanted to tangle with Bette! except maybe Joan crawford.
