Julie Suedo
Any info on Julie Suedo would be appreciated. She appeared in British films spanning the years 1923 - 1945. Three of her film appearances were with Ivor Novello in: The Rat `25, The Triumph of the Rat `26, and The Vortex `28
Julie Suedo plays Mou-Mou, one of the Apache dancers at the White Coffin cafe who sigh for Ivor because they like the way he knocks them around. The picture and info are from the book Ivor by Sandy Wilson.
Many thanks to MichaelE for the top photo, and GildaT for the bottom photo and info.

One of my "favorite" movie clichés was when the girl hit the hero with her puny, weak little fists against the his chest, as he pulled her close to him in a passionate embrace. After five seconds of useless "struggle" she would stop fighting and enjoy the kiss. That's always got me mad, even as a kid.
Are we sure that's her leg?
I always got a kick out of that cliche too. After her initial resistance, she would "melt" in his big strong arms and then become his "woman" for the rest of the film. Even if you looked like Gary Cooper or some Hollywood stud, I still cant see it happening. If you look like George Costanza, youll at the very least get a slap in the face, and probably sent to jail.
Im pretty sure its her leg, according to the info I got from a friend who is a big Novello fan. She got the info and photo from the book Ivor, by Sandy Wilson. The scene in the photo is from the film The Rat 1926.
