The Cecil B. DeMille Collection
Four Frightened People 1934, starring Claudette Colbert, Herbert Marshall, Mary Boland and William Gargan will be included in the upcoming Universal Home Video five-disc Cecil B. DeMille Collection DVD release.

I just reviewed this picture for the IMDb yesterday. Then I learned about this DVD release. Hope this print will be cleaner than the one I have. I also wonder whether the DVD will contain the pre-code version or the chopped up 1935 re-release, or both. Exciting news!

ReplyDeleteAccording to Universal, the 79 minute version of Four Frightened people will be featured, so it looks like it's the 1935 U.S. re-release. Still good news, though.
